The candidate must be board-certified in Internal Medicine, board-eligible or certified in Adult Infectious Disease, willing to teach residents and medical students, and willing to participate as a core faculty member in the Internal Medicine residency training program. Read whole Hurley GME blog post chevron_right Hurley fills a gap in regional health care Adolescent behavioral health unit opens With 14 beds, Hurley’s new adolescent behavioral health unit helps to fill a health-care gap in the state for behavioral health inpatient care. The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new unit took place Nov. 15, 2022. With the new unit, kids ages 12-17 can remain in the community for inpatient care, rather than leaving the area, which had been the norm since 2005, making for hardships for patients and their families.
